Technology Blogs

My initial impression of Blogging was that most contributors suffer from Blogorrhea.
That is, an inability to control the output.

In order to offer a somewhat informed comment on Blogging I decided to search for some of the better examples of technology Blogs.

This lead me to an article by Laura Gordon-Murnane in the March, 2006 volume of Searcher.

Here is the persistent link (if you have access to the UWO proxy server).

Here are just two of the more interesting technology Blogs identified in the article:

C|net's Blog.News.com. & Brian Sewell's Future Wire - futurism and emerging technology.

It seems that a key to successful blogging is a simple marketing axiom: know your target audience.

Library Quote for today:

"I have always imagined that Paradise will be a kind of library."

  • I nearly spit out my cheerios this morning when I read that comic.

I particularly like the descriptive power of 'blogorrhea'...I was trying to decide if the term had its root in the intestinal malaise or reproductive disease...either way, its entirely appropriate.
